My practices are thoughtful and exploratory. By employing a delicate and mature approach I am able to combine my passion for experimentation, with technical and traditional skills. This inquisitive attitude results in work that can be intriguing both technically and visually. Through a marriage of materials I seek to celebrate that which can only ever be suggested: the profoundly subtle, yet complex nature of all things and the deeply moving positivity that can be found in this. Through the use of repetition, intricacy, complex detail, material, form and scale I am able to play with light and space and by doing so I hope to alter perception and evoke inquisitiveness. My work incorporates hand blown, fractured glass forms, some of which are encapsulated in literal, or metaphorical wholes, that aim to hint of something intangible.
